Welcome to OSpora
Endymion Behemoth
OpenSpora (OSpora) is an open-source community project that is creating a massively multiplayer game which is currently in a pre-alpha phase. Buy your ship, take off into space and trade between planets. You will find other players - chat to them, trade with them, build guilds with them, or kill them! Download the game, and you will be ready to explore the universe of OSpora.

We are currently in need of Java programmers or individuals who are willing to learn. Contact James on the forum if you would like to be involved in the project. Here you will find a list of current tasks that you can jump straight into without first getting to know the OSpora codebase.

OSpora: Coming Soon
The development of OSpora is progressing rapidly and an alpha/beta can be expected shortly. We invite you to join our active community in our forums, where you will find active topics, debates, and discussions on features to include in the game.

We also have an IRC channel: #ospora on irc.freenode.net. Steveb has made a Java IRC client available on his website, which works just like a regular chat room.

If you do not have this option in the help menu, please go to mozilla.com and download the latest.

My OSpora
My OSpora will be your gateway to the game. All new user accounts will be created via this convenient web interface. That means you can create your character while you wait for the game to download, meaning you can jump into the action without delay! Other planned features for My OSpora include facilities for you to:

Ammend your details;
Change a forgotten password;
View your character's stats;
Link your game account to your forum account;
Ammend your guild's details and logo if you are a guild leader.
