5 StarsAfter hours of slow browser based games, pointless action games or boring free MUDs, Diaspora is THE BEST and allways will be THE BEST free game I have ever played.Starting off with money enough to buy a small ship and trade goods from planet to planet once you get into the actual game, you will never leave, and I mean that. NOBODY ever leaves the Diaspora, they take breaks, or have rests, but nobody ever leaves because its just too good.
After an couple of days to a week or two you will know all about the game itself, killing AI for money, PKing, Guilds but below the excellent gaming experience and just plain fun you begin to realize there is more to the game than that. Diaspora is an very elaborate complex game of power and opinion.
Winning friends, joining or making an loyal and powerful guild plus the inner politics most of the key players are involved in the game of Diaspora is constantly changing, new guilds, new people a battle to get more power or take someone elses away.
Try it for 3 days and if you dont like it your sick, twisted and need majoy psycological help.
